The mission of Friendship Chapel is to glorify God
by equipping ourselves to be Jesus to others.

The Protestant Reformation of the early 16th Century sound the clarion call Soli Deo Gloria (glory to God alone), reminding the Church that glory does not belong to individuals or institutions; rather, it belongs to God alone. The Apostle Paul calls us, in whatever we do, to do it for the glory of God. (1 Corinthians 10:31) Jesus Christ, himself, indicated that in the completion of his early work, it was done to bring glory to his heavenly Father. (John 17:4) Scripture shows us that the ultimate purpose of his will for us in Christ was to be for the “praise of His glory.” (Ephesians 1:11-14)

As ambassadors of Jesus Christ and his Kingdom (2 Corinthians 5:20), we will strive to be “Jesus with skin on” to the people with whom we have contact, and, in the power of the Holy Spirit, we will diligently prepare ourselves for that task. (Acts 1:8; 2 Timothy 3:16-17)
